Easy Cracker Spider Halloween Snack for Kids

Turn crackers, pretzel sticks, and candy eyes into frightfully delicious spider snacks!

What You’ll Need to Make the Cracker Spiders

• Round crackers
• Pretzel sticks
• Peanut butter, sunflower seed butter, or another thick spread
• Candy eyes
• Child-safe knife or butter knife
• Serving plate

Instructions for Making Cracker Spiders

Step 1: Prepare the Spider Legs

Break four pretzel sticks in half to create eight shorter pieces for each spider.

Count the pieces together to make sure your spider has eight legs.

Step 2: Assemble the Cracker Spiders

Spread peanut butter, sunflower seed butter, or another thick spread onto one round cracker. Arrange four pretzel pieces along each side of the cracker, gently pressing their ends into the spread.

Place a second cracker on top and press gently to hold the spider’s body and legs together.

Step 3: Add the Spider Eyes

Add two small dots of the spread to the top cracker. Gently press one candy eye onto each dot to complete your cracker spider.

Arrange the finished spiders on a plate and serve.
