Connect the Dots Aloud

As your child works on the alphabet dot-to-dot worksheets, encourage them to say the letter name out loud when they get to it. This can help them remember each letter’s name.

Letter Sound Dot-to-Dot

If your child has mastered saying the name of each letter aloud, move on to saying the different sounds each letter can make. For example, for the letter C, you can try making the soft C sound, like /s/ in city and cycle, and the hard C sound, like /k/ in cake and cone.

Connect the Dots Word Inspiration

As your child draws a line from letter to letter, ask them to think of a word that starts with each letter they land on. For an added challenge, ask them to write the word down after they say it to work on their spelling skills.
