New Hampshire’s Education Freedom Accounts program is an Education Savings Account (ESA) program. It allows eligible students to redirect their state-funded per-pupil adequacy grants toward various educational options, such as private tuition, tutoring, curriculum, and online learning programs. Initially income-limited, the program became universal in 2021, and recent fiscal analysis shows it has saved taxpayers nearly $9 million in 2023–24, with projections of $23 million annual savings.
