Georgia Promise Scholarship and ABCmouse

ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, and Reading IQ are approved vendors with Georgia’s Promise Scholarship Program. If your family qualifies, you can now use Promise Scholarship / GESA funds for these top-tier online learning tools for your homeschool or as a supplement for classroom learning.

ABCmouse offers a research-validated curriculum for preschool through 2nd grade. With thousands of engaging activities across reading, math, science, and art, ABCmouse helps children build a strong academic foundation at home or on the go. Each subscription supports up to three children and provides progress tracking for each child.

Adventure Academy

Adventure Academy immerses elementary- and middle-school-age students in a safe virtual world where every activity is designed to build critical knowledge in academic subjects, including language arts, math, science, social studies, and more.

With thousands of activities to choose from, including videos, games, books, quizzes, and other interactive elements, kids can build essential knowledge, pursue their interests, and personalize their learning experience by creating an Avatar, completing Quests, and interacting with their peers.

Reading IQ

ReadingIQ offers over 1,000 books for children ages 2 through 10 and makes it easy to track and monitor your children’s progress as he or she reads and learns. You can view detailed reports on how many books your children are reading, the level he or she is reading at, and more.

Families enrolled in the Promise Scholarship / GESA program can purchase ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, and Reading IQ with their funds in just a few simple steps:

Log in to your Odyssey Portal for the Georgia Promise Scholarship.  

Access the marketplace from your portal.

Search for ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, or ReadingIQ.

Select the subscription option and check out.

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email with your product access code(s) to start your learning journey with ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, or ReadingIQ.

Created in 2024, Georgia’s Promise Scholarship Program provides eligible K-12 students with $6,500 per year to use on approved education expenses. Families can apply these funds toward private school tuition, curriculum, tutoring, therapy, transportation, and online learning programs, including ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, and Reading IQ.

To qualify, students must either be entering kindergarten or have attended a Georgia public school for two consecutive semesters and live in the attendance zone of a school ranked in the bottom 25% statewide. This program gives parents more flexibility to choose the learning environment that best supports their child’s success.
