The ABCmouse Recognition Program: Honoring Outstanding Online Contributors to Early Childhood Learning
At ABCmouse, we’re passionate about early childhood education, and we know we’re not alone. Across the internet, incredible creators, educators, bloggers, and organizations are making a real difference in the lives of young learners and those who support them.
We created the ABCmouse Recognition Program as a way to spotlight and celebrate the exceptional blogs, websites, and resources that enrich early learning in engaging, innovative, and impactful ways.

What We Look For in Outstanding Online Contributors
We use a clear and thoughtful review process to recognize websites and creators that stand out in the early education space.
Whether a resource is designed for families, homeschoolers, classroom teachers, or education leaders, here are the qualities we look for:

1. Focus on Early Learning for Families or Educators
We honor resources that support the growth and development of young children (typically ages 2–8). This includes:

- Parenting and homeschooling tips
- Hands-on learning activities for home or school
- Classroom lesson ideas and teaching tools
- EdTech integrations that enhance early learning
- Professional development resources aimed at early childhood educators
2. High-Quality, Helpful Content
We celebrate content that is clear, engaging, and genuinely useful. Whether it’s a printable worksheet, creative teaching strategy, craft project, tech tutorial, or family-friendly learning activity, we look for resources that are thoughtfully created and bring educational value to the people who use them.

3. Community and Engagement
We value creators and organizations that build meaningful connections with their audience—whether that’s parents, caregivers, or educators. This may include:
- Active comment sections or Q&As
- Engaged social media or professional learning networks
- Email newsletters, webinars, or virtual workshops
- Recognition and participation within early learning or teaching communities

4. Positive Impact and Reach
We consider a creator’s influence in the space—not based on size alone, but on trust and value. Whether it’s a small blog making waves through word-of-mouth or a well-known EdTech platform shaping classroom practices, we recognize voices that are impacting early learning in meaningful ways.

5. Trustworthiness and User Experience
We believe the best educational resources are user-friendly, transparent about who’s behind them, and free of intrusive ads or misleading content. A clean, welcoming experience helps families and educators engage confidently and safely.
Bonus Recognition
In addition to the core criteria above, we also award bonus points to creators and sites that demonstrate:
- Unique or specialized instructional approaches
- Thought leadership or innovation in early education
- Recognition from trusted educational or parenting communities

Why Recognition Matters
When you see a recognition badge from ABCmouse, it means we’ve reviewed the site or resource carefully and believe it offers exceptional value to families, educators, or both. It’s our way of saying:
“Thank you for the incredible work you do to support early learners.”
