Quality Assurance Tester
We are seeking a full time QA Tester whose primary responsibility will be testing across desktop browsers, Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience as a tester working in a fast pace setting with tight deadlines and be able to facilitate the discovery, documentation, and communication of software issues clearly.
Qualifications:
  • Able to test in fast-paced environment with both long and short development cycles
  • Knowledge of QA testing methodologies
  • Ability to clearly communicate software issues and behavior to development, product management, operations and marketing
  • At least 6 months experience in QA
  • Desire to learn, share knowledge, and take initiative
Duties would include:
  • Testing and quality analysis of web software and apps across desktop browsers, Android, and iOS platforms.

QA Senior Manager
We are seeking a full-time Sr. Manager for the Quality Assurance department. The QA Sr. Manager manages the teams responsible for quality assurance testing at Age of Learning to ensure quality deployments while balancing risk with speed to market.
This person will be responsible for working closely with QA Management and the rest of our production and technology teams to define and sustain a Quality Assurance vision that incorporates quality assurance standards, cost-effective approaches to testing, and innovative new testing methods. This person must be flexible in testing approach for the fast-moving nature of our business. Most importantly this person must have a desire to build a strong team that works well together, delivers quality results, and is always striving to improve.
Qualifications:
  • 4 years minimum Management or other equivalent leadership experience
  • 6+ years experience in Quality Assurance or comparable development experience
  • Deep understanding of development techniques, frameworks and methodologies
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, effective relationships across the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical
  • Test certifications or formal training (ISTQB, IEEE, Agile, etc.) is a plus
Duties would include:
  • Work with the QA team to define and execute on a vision around progressive QA best practices to ensure high quality deployments in suitable timeframes
  • Define, standardize, and apply the QA strategy for product teams while remaining flexible to individual team needs
  • Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders to understand the needs for the QA department and tools
  • Assure timely completion of testing for projects as well as comprehensive bug tracking and reporting
  • Measure and report on quality assurance metrics on a regular basis
  • Provide leadership, project management and testing expertise, and career development for QA managers and individual QA contributors on the team
  • Help build and establish a culture of teamwork, excellence, and process improvement
