Manager, Business Intelligence
Age of Learning is seeking a strong, highly-motivated, results-oriented Manager of Business Intelligence who will be responsible for delivering in-depth analyses to influence numerous aspects of the company’s business performance. This person will serve as a key business advisor to senior business decision makers, translating analytic insights into concrete business building initiatives. The insights provided by this individual would be used to make informed, data-driven decisions regarding the health and optimization of acquisition initiatives, member retention, and overall user engagement across our properties. This is a hands-on analytical role in a fast-paced environment. This person will report to the VP Business Intelligence.
Qualifications:
  • Analytical thinker, flexible problem solver and team player with ability to multi-task several priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrate understanding and experience with relational data sets, data warehouses, data mining and data analysis techniques
  • Must be able to understand and analyze data, synthesizing large volumes of data and complex questions into clear analyses and actionable findings
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present analysis findings to stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in deadline-driven atmosphere.
  • 4+ years in an analytical/statistics focused position, preferably from a digital environment
  • 1-2 years experience with testing and optimization tools, ideally in a digital environment
  • Advanced Excel skill required, including formula and trending charts development
  • Analytical, problem solver, collaborative, strategic, results-oriented
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Results driven; does what it takes to get the job done and naturally goes the extra mile
  • Digital Analytics Software experience: Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst) or Google Analytics or IBM CoreMetrics, etc.
  • Testing & Optimization experience: Adobe Test and Target or Optimost or Optimizely, etc.
  • Data Visualization experience: Excel or Tableau, etc.
Duties would include:
  • Standard reporting and monitoring of the health of the business, ad-hoc analyses of site projects, and pro-active identification of actionable optimization opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze the health and business performance from site traffic to conversion to member retention by providing on-going information, analyses and insights through standard recurring reports and ad hoc analyses
  • Responsible for surfacing key insights and learning to inform marketing initiatives and product enhancements. Interact with and support a variety of business teams and individuals within the organization to make data-driven business decisions aimed at growth
  • Present results and findings of efforts to the broader organization, including senior executives
  • Works with stakeholders and team members to formulate requirements for ad-hoc analyses of initiatives and its businesses; works with manager to prioritize such projects
  • Stay vigilant of data quality and challenges and recommend solutions to solve problems
  • Deep understanding and experience with enterprise analytics tools, e.g. Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics or IBM Coremetrics, including technical analytics architecture, implementations and integration with other data sources
  • Deep understanding of business intelligence tools, e.g. IBM Cognos or Microstrategy or SAP or Oracle, etc and data warehouses architectures
  • Plan, implement, support and report A/B and multivariate testing strategies across multiple platforms, e.g. desktop, mobile web and mobile apps
  • Understand integrations across all analytics tools and the data warehouse
  • Continuously evaluate infrastructure to provide recommendations on improving the data strategy and analytics platform for effective measurement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop and implement a high quality infrastructure of quantitative data to track and collect pertinent data to answer complex business questions and improve performance and member persistency
  • Perform complex data extractions, manipulations and validation from internal data warehouse and effectively analyze data
  • Continue to improve and enhance automated/real-time dashboards and visualization of key metrics

Producer, Brand Marketing
Age of Learning is seeking a Brand Marketing Producer to assist the Creative
Director in overseeing staff of graphic designers. The Brand Marketing Producer
will foster a fluid and consistent workflow for a team tasked with a variety of
print, merchandise and web advertising collateral while simultaneously
functioning as the liaison to other departments needing creative services. The
ideal candidate is someone capable of adjusting to challenges that arise and
posses the ability to finding creative solutions that keep projects on track.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in project or traffic management in a print environment
  • 1-2 years Marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sense of accountability, self-motivation and follow-through
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Proficiency with the print production process
  • Mac preferred, strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent; MS Project
  • Photoshop, and InDesign a plus
  • Ability to multi-task projects at one time and flexibility to adapt quickly to urgent requirements
  • Sense of humor required
Duties would include:
  • Work directly with the Creative Director and internal cross functional teams, taking point on producing marketing and collateral materials for both print and web
  • Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, place purchase orders, and route materials
  • Maintain records of elements, costs, and schedules of a variety of projects
  • Implement and maintain a process of efficient workflow systems utilizing internal tools
  • Manage the influx of incoming requests and ensure project specs are complete, communicated and routed efficiently to the team
  • Produce trade show events and materials, both domestically and overseas
  • Maintain inventory tracking system, coordinate shipping and fulfillment of international, domestic materials and merchandise
  • Lead Brand Marketing staff, keeping them informed on assignments, schedules, project details, etc.
  • Diplomatically enforce deadlines and problem solve in an efficient and professional manner
