Curriculum Manager
We are seeking a full time in-house Curriculum Manager to start immediately.

This position is for a very organized person with experience running projects in a studio environment. This person will be responsible for ensuring the timely creation and approval of pre-production materials for games, books and animations. These materials will require input by multiple stakeholders. Tight schedules will need to be respected with a firm but friendly attitude that helps the process along. Qualifications:
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in a relevant position is required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Sense of accountability and follow-through
  • Eye for detail and excellent written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint or equivalent. Smartsheet, Filemaker Visio, Tracker, Google Docs a plus
  • Sense of humor required

Early Childhood Education Specialist (or Generalist)
Age of Learning is rapidly growing, and we are seeking full time in-house Early Childhood Education Specialist to assist in developing a forward looking interactive curriculum for preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten. The ideal person for this position will have experience working with a school system on primary grade curriculum as well as experience in developing interactive educational applications. This person will be working directly with our Director of Curriculum as well as other creative and production personnel.

This person will work as a member of a curriculum development team that is designing books and multimedia curriculum content.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience working with preschool, pre-k, or kindergarten curriculum
  • Specialized training and/or experience in early childhood/primary grades curriculum development in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, art and/or music a plus
  • Writing/editing experience a plus
Duties would include:
  • Writing detailed specifications for development of content with specified learning objectives that meet state and other professional standards and is highly engaging
  • Reviewing content for developmental appropriateness and the application of best-practices approaches in the presentation of concepts, principles, information and skills.

Director of Curriculum
This is a management position that will direct a growing team of curriculum specialists in the development of detailed specifications for learning activities in the preK-2 grade range (immediately) and 3-5 grade range (near future). The position calls for someone with detailed working knowledge of standards and instruction in all elementary subjects, who is comfortable managing a team in a highly collaborative and highly productive working environment.

This is a unique opportunity for an educator to have a positive impact on millions of children. You will be helping to guide the development of the most comprehensive and engaging online school and home curriculum currently available for young and elementary-age children. You need to be able to foster a positive collaborative atmosphere in which resourcefulness thrives and deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
  • The ideal person for this position will have in depth experience managing educators and creating and implementing Elementary grades curriculum resources both in print and online
  • At least 5+years of experience designing elementary school curriculum resources
  • Substantial experience in designing/developing interactive learning online applications
  • Experience in writing and editing
  • Specialized training and /or experience as a curriculum specialist in grades K-2 such as reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies art or music
  • Teaching experience a plus
Duties would include:
  • Managing the curriculum team which is writing and reviewing detailed specifications for development of content with specified learning objectives that meet state and other professional standards for grades K-2
  • Insuring specifications result in highly engaging and interactive content
  • Reviewing content for developmental appropriateness and the application of best-practice approaches in the presentation of concepts, principles, information and skills
  • Manage, develop, evaluate, and mentor curriculum team to maximize their performance and to achieve their personal, department and corporate goals
