Chef:

Definition: A chef is a person who is paid to cook. Usually, a chef is the cook in charge of everyone working in the kitchen at a restaurant or hotel.

Definition: If something is fabulous, it is extremely good. It is much better than normal.

Definition: A fajita is a type of food. A fajita has juicy strips of meat, chicken, or vegetables inside a tortilla.

Falafel:

Definition: Falafel is a type of food. You chop chickpeas, a type of bean, into tiny pieces, make it into balls, and then cook it. Sometimes people put falafel into a sandwich.

Sentence: Fatima likes to eat falafel. Fletcher likes fried rice.

Favor:

Definition: If you favor something, you especially like it, or you have good feelings about it.

Sentence: Freddy's favorite food is french fries. Fifi favors fish.

Fee, fi, fo, fum:

Definition: Fee, fi, fo, fum is a made-up group of words that people use to show that they are angry or that they really don’t like something.

Sentence: Fee, fi, fo, fum! I'm looking for a chef! who's in the mood to make fabulous food beginning with the letter f.

Fettuccine:

Definition: Fettuccine is a type of food that is flat, thin noodles.

Sentence: A bowl of fettuccine is what Farah wants the most.

Fig:

Definition: A fig is a small, sweet fruit with lots of seeds. Figs grow on fig trees.

Sentence: Felipe found a fortune cookie. Fritzy found a fig.

Fondue:

Definition: To make fondue, you melt cheese or chocolate in a pot. Then, you dip bread, vegetables, or fruit into the pot and eat it. Sometimes, people heat hot oil in the pot and cook foods like chicken or beef.

Sentence: When Fran and Fergie eat fondue it makes them dance a jig!

Frankfurter:

Definition: A frankfurter is another name for a hot dog that is made from beef, pork, or turkey. People usually eat frankfurters on a bun with toppings such as ketchup or mustard.

Sentence: Sometimes my dad likes to grill hamburgers and frankfurters.

Fritters:

Definition: Fritters are small pieces of meat, fruit, or vegetables that are covered with a mixture of flour, eggs, and milk and cooked in vegetable oil.

Sentence: My mom bought some apple fritters at the bakery.

Fruitcake:

Definition: Fruitcake is a type of thick cake that has small pieces of fruit in it.

Sentence: Frieda feels like fruitcake. Frank says, "Frog legs might taste nice!"

Funnel cake:

Definition: Funnel cake is a cake that is made by pouring ingredients through a funnel into hot cooking oil.

Sentence: ...and old-fashioned funnel cakes! Yum yum yum!

Jig:

Definition: A jig is a fast, lively dance.

Sentence: When Fran and Fergie eat fondue it makes them dance a jig!

Mood:

Definition: Your mood is how you are feeling at a certain time.
